Registered Nurse with a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration.

EXPERIENCE
Worked several years in acute hospital settings as an RN. Held positions as Director of Nursing and manager two home health agencies. Responsibilities have included overseeing nursing departments as well as ancillary departments including the Radiology. Worked for 12 years as the Business Manager of an outpatient radiology practice. Negotiated all contracts and equipment purchases, developed strategic plans, planned and supervised the building of a new outpatient radiology facility and served as marketing director. President of Specialty Medical Billing since 1994. Works with clients providing consultation services on pending and existing contracts. Meets with clients monthly or quarterly to review their practice trends.

EDUCATION
AA degree in Business Management. Certified Coder since 1992

EXPERIENCE
Has worked in medical billing since 1992. Became the Manager of Specialty Medical Billing in 1994. Responsible for the day-to-day operations including overseeing all functions related to customer account management, patient services and implementation of new programs. Provides analysis of trends for clients.
